HILLCREST PAST MASTER CHRIS LIVINGSTON INSTALLED AS MASTER OF TEXAS LODGE OF RESEARCH 2018-2019
The Texas Lodge of Research held their Spring meeting and Officer Installation at Hillcrest Masonic Lodge on April 21st, 2018. Past Master Chris Livingston, who is also the current President of the 14th District MWSA, was installed as Master of the Lodge for the 2018-2019 year. Hillcrest member Mike Bigbee was installed as Chaplain. Many Masons were in attendance, including multiple Past Grand Masters.
The day started with breakfast, followed by the regular quarterly meeting, which included the reading of presented papers and hearing of membership petitions. After lunch, the incoming officers were duly installed by PGM Wendell Miller, PGM David Dibrell, and DDGM Kyle Wahlquist.
The Texas Lodge of Research is a statewide Masonic lodge, instituted December 4, 1958 at Waco, Texas “for the purpose of promoting, encouraging, conducting and fostering Masonic research and study.”
TLR meets at least four times per year, usually on the third Saturday of January, March, June and September. Meetings are held throughout the state, and have ranged from Amarillo to Brownsville and from Beaumont to El Paso. If you are interested in becoming a member of TLR, please see there website HERE.
